Big Thank-you to Our Sponsor Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation

The Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation Donation helps riders – This year long program with funding of $30,000 has been earmarked to help train volunteers at the North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association.

We have offered Level 1 TWICE already, and Level Two is being launched in 2014! If you’ve ever wondered what volunteering would be like – here are the thoughts of one of our volunteers:

“Volunteering at NFTRA brings many rewards. While getting satisfaction from bringing pleasure to others we also enjoy exercise, fresh air, new friendships and the fun of interacting with the horses. The big smiles from riders as they go around the arena or feed treats to the horses are wonderful to see.”

NFTRA: bringing smiles to riders AND volunteers in our community.
