Our Volunteers

Our Therapeutic Riding Program depends on volunteers like you to provide the unique form of therapy one can only get from a horse. We need people to groom, tack, handle the horses and to act as support people for riders with disabilities. Some of our riders are as young as 3 years old and it is wonderful to see what being on a horse can do for them.

If you can give NFTRA a couple of hours every week, we have a tailor-made volunteer job for you!

Come and spend time with some of the most gentle and generous equines around, and feel the satisfaction that a worthwhile volunteer job can give.

We provide free training and offer Therapeutic Riding Assistant courses and certification.

Get together with a friend or come try it on your own.
